Our Mission
At Her Haven, our mission is to empower young women aging out of foster care and group homes by providing safe, stable housing and holistic support services that foster independence, confidence, and long-term success. Through transitional housing, mentorship, and development programs, we strive to create a nurturing community where every young woman is equipped to build a brighter, self-sufficient future.

We envision a world where young women transitioning out of foster care have access to safe housing, compassionate guidance, and the tools necessary to thrive. Her Haven aims to be a nationwide model for transitional communities that break cycles of instability and uplifts the next generation of women leaders.

Our Story
Her Haven was founded by Cierra Mclendon Berry, a devoted community leader and businesswoman with a passion for helping underserved youth. Her Haven has established a transitional housing and development program designed to break cycles of poverty, build confidence, and prepare young women (ages 18-25) for independence. What began as one woman's mission potential has grown into a community - driven initiative dedicated to building futures - one young woman, one container home, and one life at a time.​

We offer a comprehensive transitional housing program that includes:

• Financial literacy and career readiness workshops

• One-on-one mentorship and mental health support
